Their
recommendation Ada Goth lives in Ghastly-Gorm Hal with her father Lord Goth, lots of servants and at least half a dozen ghosts. However, living in a huge haunted and mysterious house is no fun if you have no friends to explore with.... Things change for Ada when she meets Ishmail, a ghostly mouse, saddened by his recent death at the hands of a mouse trap. Together they set out to solve the strange occurrences surrounding Ghastly-Gorm Hall and its suspicious head indoor game keeper Maltravers. Goth Girl is hilarious, the mixture of mystery and wit make it a wonderful read. The quick plot line and clever footnotes make you want to turn the pages quicker each time. Beautifully produced this small purple edged hardback is a great present for 7 – 10 year olds.
